Disc Golf and Foot Golf

The Stump Event Center is more than just a beautiful venue for weddings, parties, and community gatherings — it’s also part of a lively outdoor recreation destination right in Hickory, NC. The grounds include the Mountain View FootGolf Club, a certified footgolf course where players of all ages can kick around a soccer-style ball through a scenic layout, and fun disc golf play is available too, making it a great place to combine celebration with outdoor activity.

Both the footgolf and disc golf courses are open to the public on Saturdays (typically starting mid-morning) and otherwise by appointment, so guests can plan a round before or after their event. Whether you’re hosting a field day, team building, festival, or family reunion, the full grounds — including greenspace, courses, and event pavilion — are available to reserve for memorable experiences.
